4. Website Use
This website is provided for general information purposes. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Accessing or using this site does not create a solicitor-client relationship. A solicitor-client relationship is established only through a signed engagement letter.
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site.
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable Malaysian law.

All content on this website — including text, design elements, and layout — is the property of Keluarga Chambers and is protected under Malaysian copyright law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, adapt, or redistribute content without our written consent.
6. Service Engagement and Fees
Fees for legal services are discussed at the first consultation and confirmed in a written engagement letter before work commences. All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment terms are set out in the engagement letter. Fees may be updated from time to time; any changes will be communicated before work begins.
Disbursements (court filing fees, stamp duties, and similar third-party costs) are charged separately and will be outlined in your engagement letter or communicated in advance.
7. Confidentiality
Information shared with Keluarga Chambers during the course of an engagement is subject to solicitor-client privilege and our professional duty of confidentiality. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law, with your consent, or as necessary to provide the services you have engaged us for.
8. Disclaimers

Legal information on this site is general in nature and may not apply to your specific circumstances. We do not accept liability for reliance on website content without first seeking tailored legal advice.
We do not make any representation about the outcome of legal proceedings or negotiations. Every matter is different, and past experience is not indicative of future results.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Keluarga Chambers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Our liability in relation to legal services provided under an engagement letter is limited to the terms of that letter and applicable professional indemnity requirements.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Termination of Engagement
Either party may terminate a legal services engagement by giving reasonable written notice. On termination, you are responsible for fees incurred up to the date of termination. We may retain copies of documents as required by professional rules. Termination of the engagement does not terminate our duty of confidentiality.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall first be raised informally in writing to allow for resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before commencing court proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

- Entire Agreement — These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between us.
- Severability — If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver — Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our rights.
- Assignment — You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
