A Chamber Built Around People
Keluarga Chambers was founded on a simple belief — that those navigating family law matters deserve more than legal process. They deserve understanding, patience, and someone who will sit with them and talk things through honestly.
Back to HomeHow Keluarga Chambers Came to Be
Keluarga Chambers opened its doors in Kuala Lumpur after its founders spent years observing how differently families experienced the legal system depending on the support they had. Too many people arrived at pivotal moments in their lives feeling overwhelmed, unheard, and unsure of where to turn.
The name itself — keluarga, meaning family in Malay — was chosen to reflect what sits at the centre of everything we do. Not cases, not billable hours, but people and the relationships they are working through.
From our offices at Wisma Central on Jalan Ampang, we serve individuals and families across Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding regions, offering thoughtful counsel on separation and divorce, child custody and maintenance, and family mediation. Our aim is always to find the path that serves your family's long-term wellbeing — not just the outcome that wins on paper.
Our Mission
To provide calm, informed legal guidance for families at difficult crossroads — so that those going through change can move forward with dignity and clarity.
Our Values
- Respect — Every person who walks through our door is treated with courtesy, regardless of their circumstances.
- Honesty — We give realistic assessments, even when they are not what clients hoped to hear.
- Clarity — Complex legal situations explained in plain, accessible language.
- Care — We acknowledge that family matters are personal, and we treat them accordingly.
The People You Will Work With
Our team is small by design. That means the lawyer you meet at your first consultation is the same one who sees your matter through to completion.

How We Work
Our standards are not just professional obligations — they are the everyday habits that shape how we treat the people who trust us with their family matters.
Malaysian Bar Compliance
All practitioners at Keluarga Chambers are members in good standing with the Malaysian Bar and adhere to its professional conduct rules in every matter we handle.
Strict Confidentiality
Solicitor-client privilege applies to everything discussed with us. Documents are stored securely, and information is never shared without your explicit consent.
Regular Communication
You will hear from us. We send updates when there is something to share and respond to queries within one business day, because we understand that waiting is one of the harder parts.
Fee Transparency
Costs are discussed plainly before any work is agreed. There are no hidden charges and no pressure to engage further services than you need.
Child-Centred Practice
In all matters involving children, we are guided by their wellbeing as the central consideration — in line with Malaysia's Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act and the Children Act 2001.
Mediation-First Approach
Where it is appropriate and safe, we encourage families to explore mediation and negotiated agreement before turning to contested court proceedings.
Family Law Counsel in Kuala Lumpur
Family law in Malaysia encompasses a range of personal and legal matters — from the dissolution of marriages under the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act 1976, to custody and maintenance arrangements governed by the Guardianship of Infants Act 1961 and the Married Women and Children (Maintenance) Act 1950. Non-Muslim family matters are handled by the Civil Courts, and navigating these processes benefits considerably from steady, informed legal support.
At Keluarga Chambers, we work with clients across a range of situations — those who have reached a mutual decision to separate and need help documenting it properly, those who are facing a contested divorce, and those who wish to resolve disputes over children or assets without the strain of prolonged court proceedings.
Our location at Level 9, Wisma Central on Jalan Ampang places us centrally within Kuala Lumpur's professional district, accessible by public transport. We welcome enquiries from individuals at any stage of their situation — whether you are still considering your options, or whether the process is already underway and you need a second opinion.
Come and Have a Conversation
No paperwork, no pressure. Just an honest discussion about your situation and what options are open to you.
